Do you remember your coming out? The Ivern remembers. Well, not yours, specifically. I don't care about you. In general, I mean. I remember mine: a dreadful, majestically terrifying experience. I remember the look in my mother's eyes, amids fear and confusion. But I also remember me, the me of back then, and the unimaginable avalanche of pain and relief that washed over me. The physical sensation of... weight, spiraling inside. An hurricane, as freeing as it was devastating.

As with MC's mother, even my mother came to understand her fears, dissolving them along with undefined regret. It's an universal experience among us, right? Its consequences too.

And that's why it's important to tell stories like this, like this manga does. Because being outed, coming out, it changes who you are. And it's not a simple change: it's a fundamental one. You are different, now. Words make it real.

Cloudburst is a slow burn. That much is clear. It's a character study about what being gay even is, and what it means. About what the violence of being outed does to people, and about a... Very peculiar man. ML is a strange... well, he is a strange. He is not the usual curt, tsundery guy we get, melting into sweet affection after the confession. ML is an a**, in every sense of the word. (Especially physical). I love him, and I won't say more.

Why say more when the writing is practically stellar? Give it the attention it deserves and you will discover a very intricate net of whispered innuendos and metaphors that fill their interactions, making it a real treat. The art too, starts incredible, but it degenerates from a great shader-intensive style to a more budget friendly, simple-contour centered one.

All in all, a great work. A full five stars. The indecisiveness and slow pacing are actually credible as part of an intended characterization effort. Also, FEET! (And shoes)

I loved the story
It's very realistic, those who think that writing is all over the place, it's actually not because author wrote the characters as sassy. They are not like your normal flirting yaoi trope but instead they kind of keep teasing eachother with words and it's so funny💙 The chibis are soooo cute and side characters are so funny
A very fun manhwa

The writing is all over the place. Characters are inconsistent just like the art. I've read worst though.

agreed. I'm lazy to create an account so i just wanted to write a review here cuz i agree. The writing is all over the place, and despite people saying how realistic i kinda disagree, the mc did not show any emotions whatsoever even the attempted suicide was just talked about in a light manner.
The "male lead" (and yes i put it in quotations because he does not feel like a romantic interest to the mc ) is one the most horrible ml ive ever had the misfortune of reading about. He treated the mc horribly, he's terrible at communicating and is straight. Yes. Your typical straight guy that does not like to be called bi even tho he's attracted to the same gender. That's the most annoying and unrealistic part for me. Sexuality is fluid yes, but the writing in this case is just off and borderline homophobic/biphobic, the sudden interest in the mc makes no sense. Not to mention them having 000 chemistry. It was really hard to read i only kept reading to see if the story was going in the direction i thought it was: straight boring ass**** ml, gay mc who cant help but fall for him despite knowing he's straight...
I thought that it would be interesting as it deals with realistic topics of coming out and gay lifestyle, but it does a horrible job at that it was still your typical yaoi.
I know people will dislike  because g** forbid you critique a manhwa lol but this is just MY opinion.
