Being too good is a problem if you can't keep it up, sweetie. Of course, both you and I are strangers to that plight. Me, because I can keep it up, always, being perfect and all, and you. Because you sùuuuuuuuck. And you will always sùuuuuuuuck.

Anyway, GO AWAY ROMEO! Honestly the slimiest antagonist ever. Truly disgusting. But his sorry sight is made bearable by the other... Ehm ehm, qualities of the manga.

The art starts out practically a 10/10. Piercing eyes and warm tones, with good costumes and overall high quality. Of course, it helps most of the men like to dress... sluttily. And they should. Everything is great until the second season, where the style slightly changes, and the quality drops a tiny bit.

Same for the writing: the form starts Shakespearean, if not in substance at least in appearance, and then becomes pretty standard. The characters are overall good, and they remain so, but there are these... Inconsistencies in their reactions to one another. Betrayal? Sure, great, let's joke with each others right after. The bàstard freak is blackmailing me? Fantastic, let's have a funny gag where I imagine I kick him.

It's so strange: I really like the mother-son relationship, and I dislike Mino with a passion. Maybe because he is a child, dunno, could be, hate those. Generally. But then, I love the FL-ML chemistry and actually find their later relationship development meh. The intrigue is good, but then they expect me to believe information doesn't travel in the region.

As I said, consistency. It's an art. Not easy at all. But nonetheless, this is still a 8½ on the Ivern Scale™️.

The number of people who don't know who Rosaline Capulet is but are still angry is insane. Read the first few chapters of Romeo and Juliet and you'll see she is mentioned as the woman Romeo was in love with before he switches over to Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet isn't a tragic love story, its a cautionary tale about infatuation and the fickle love of youth. The manhwa changes the premise a lot but it has good art and an interesting twist on the story with the addition of a child.

I was crying through the whole series i dont even know why.

romeo was such a bastart he played with a girls heart and then "died" later on "come back to life WITH her da** cousin".

 I didn't like juliet either

poor grandma i really have a soft spot for grandparents and this is just so sad for me T-T

A really good serious but they end it on a CLIFFHANGER tho

one of the most Beautifull artstyles i've ever seen

WAITING FOR SEASON 2 <3

Most Fantastic art i've seen and the sceneries are amazing. A twist for the well known love story and so far so good. Away from traditional storylines.
