Limit Breaker

art is good, but the story makes me want to po** myself.

OK read to pass time, too cheesey for a good memorable manga.

It has really great potential! I enjoyed season 1 a lot, however I can't really say the same for season 2 (so far).

I think the art is great especially for the monsters, I like the fact that they have a lot more detail on then compared to the other characters, it makes them that much more gruesome to look at and really sells the monster, ghoulish look.

However the character designs aren't all too great. Some of the things they fight in aren't practical.. at all.. (I don't recall her name but the girl with black hair and bangs who uses magic is a good example of this) she's fighting monsters in a mini dress? Though stand out character designs that are interesting is Kang Hwi and Yui, especially the staff Yui uses, it doubling as a selfie stick was really cool and a great way to reflect her career and personality in what she uses! Kang Hwi just stands out among a lot of the characters, you can always tell him apart from the others (I love his personality as well) 

The plot is good too, it could be better but it's not bad, he's overwhelmingly strong to the point where the outcome is already determined in any fight he's in, not thay its a bad thing, it's just the gimmick will run stale soon so I hope the author can find ways to keep it interesting that doesn't just include fighting. Also I just didn't like the ending of season 1, though I do understand why Ki-bong would want to have done what he did... I just didn't see a point in it since he'd be dragged back into conflict almost instantly in season 2 but thay doesn't discredit the ending, it's just general confusion on my part

Like I said there aren't that many things wrong with this Manhwa, it's actually pretty good but it can do with a couple improvements. Overall it's still a pretty decent read, excluding season 2 ofcourse.

4 stars cause the second season hasn't been that great. But the first season was a masterpiece  an OP character who starts  out strong and only gets more stronger
He is such a beast I love it.

This has the potential to be a master piece. I am still hoping for greatness from it.

Sh** is mid as he**.

It had some very likeable season 1 characters, but season 2 the author decided to go smooth brain. He went all in on the arrogant, and overly confident younger sister trope who just met their brother after some years.

It's incredibly boring and the memory wipe was just uselessly added in.

it's good but bad

OMGGGG THIS IS A REALLY GOOD MANHWA!!!! I LOVE THE UNIQUE CHARACTERS DESIGN AND PERSONALITIES. I LOVE THE LITTLE ASPECTS OF DIFFERENTS GENRES. LITTLE FUNNY SCENES, SUPER STRONG OP MC, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS PRETTY OKAY??? AND PLUS THERE ISNT ANY ROMANCE YIPPYYYY!!!! I KINDA WISH WE GOT TO EXPLORE MORE OF CHARACTERS BACKSTORY AND STUFF BUT ANYWAYS IM OFFICIALLY STARTING A KANG HWI FAN CLUB ✨✨✨

There are elements of it that SCREAM 5 stars. I actually feel bad giving it 3. But there are also shortcomings I just can't ignore, so I'll try being precise in my analysis, because that's what I do. I am precise and berate people. Precisely. Observe: your feet stink so much you can actually knock someone out from 5 feet away. 

Regarding this manga, however, it's complicated. Let's start with the objectively good.

- Art, as in particularly the monster design. Outstanding. Variety, quality, originality. It has it all, the full package. And all of them feel cohesive too, as if coming from a shared origin: made of the same bricks, but never samey. And overall, this fuc*** definitely earned its horror tag: few can boast the same. The human faces too are well drawn, including anatomy, so rest easy. 

- Fights, and again, specifically the visuals. Only the visuals. Enormous sense of weight and scale. Great special effects and power depiction. 

- SOME of the characterization is pretty cute and fun. It's Hwi, I'm talking mostly about my baby foxy boi. It's him.

The negatives:

- World building. Incredibly drab. Not helped by the shallow 3D environmental art. It's tiring and repetitive, almost nonexistent. 
- Writing. Okay form for a shonen, but definitely not worth remembering, and corny at times. 
- Character design. Visually, not my cup of tea. Again, we go from the anonymous to the irritating. MC is somewhat and exception, but nothing incredible. 

Lastly, the big issue. MC is absolutely, fu**-ntasticngly overpowered. We are talking max stats, and then some. There is a total abscence of growth and creative power use. The boi punches. He screams. Supersayans a bit. But that's all. The plot alone, without the drug-like feel of a powerset growth, or an original gimmick, isn't interesting enough to keep your attention. It could be, but it isn't. It should AT LEAST have a proper adventure story or zany abilities with this kind of MC.

A 7½ on the Ivern Scale™️.  Sadly.

ik ik, they are helping him clear dungeons for revenge but the mc can clearly do that himself even without the governments help when he is already op asf...

sigh, just hope mc doesn't become a simp at s2 or have a harem...

Amazing story and the Mc is very cool and handsome. If one like action genre and omnipotent handsome Mc, this manhwa is perfect for them.
