IT IS A MASTERPIECE! PERFECT! The ML is sometimes annoying, but in the end you can understand him. I just thought it ended pretty quickly, although I'd rather it ended quickly with a good end than take too many chapters and have a shi*** ending.

Im someone who prefers more action then bl and not them rawdogging it in the first pannel, they actually build a relationship here and i love it
This story is amazing, the pacing, the plot, the characters, i just love, its so well told too. I love the action in this and how mc actually deals with alot of it himself
mc is actually such a badass and I just love his character and his personality and how hes a prodigy, hes also actually a pretty funny character ngl
ML hes not toxic but toxic,

If youre going to read this i will actually mention that this is the sequel to 'Song of Reverberation' Its also a really good one and my review is there for that one. Its doesnt exactly matter if you read that one first but it does give you and idea of what this one is about since the other one deals with magic and this one deals with powers underground, please read both because they are both masterpieces and hidden gems

He does blind him and does chain him to a bed by his ankle, BUT he does it not because of mc leaving him but because he wants to protect him, mc wants to protect ml but it could injure mc really badly and ml is against it, they both mutually love each other pretty early on and when they tell each other they arent lying

I don't really read manhuas but this caught my interest, one of the best I've read so far. I like how the Mc is strong minded, intelligent and knows how to carry himself. It doesn't have that censorship like in other manhuas which is good although there are not much intimate scenes. And it is completed. I would definitely come back to read it.

This would be a solid 5 stars but the only real negative is the ending. We can all agree that it was extremely rushed, considering the fact that the MC's objective was to reach the Overworld yet the ending lacked the oomph to back it up.
In the end, there were only 2 panels of the surface which really diminished the overall message, and the side couple barely got any more development.
Overall it's a great and solid story that focuses more on the plot and has seriously well-thought-out ideas. The execution? Depends on what you think. The whole story was well balanced but the ending definitely was abrupt and under-developed.
