One of the best horror-action masterpieces ever created, Alucard is a true OG and Hirano is a genius for writing him as such. Perfect ten-volume read with great plot, great art, great characters, great comic relief, and a great ending to top it off.
If you regret anything, it won't be reading this badassery.
I reread the "Ihon" trilogy every year or so since about 6 years ago, Kuro is often one I don't give enough lov. Very good episodic horror; my personal favorite stories are "Little Sister" and "Red Devil".
The art is good as well, even if some of the human characters look a little funny. I guess what I'm trying to say is the artist's knowledge of unsettling expression pairs with the atmosphere.
Would rate 4.5 if possible, only rating 4 because sometimes it does take a bit of rereading to understand each chapter.
Over all, a very good episodic horror with a leisurely plot about a friendship between two girls who are struggling for money, doing various jobs that no one else will do. Very light hints at shoujo ai but mostly just cute friend stuff.
