Rocks on Lily
(Reposting the review here aswell)
First time writing a review, just felt like Lily deserves it. There'll be spoilers, read at your own risk.
I LOVE THIS MANHUA.
That's it, that pretty much sums up the whole review.
First of all, Mangabuddy doesn't have the entire series, it has the entirety of Volume 1, and about half of Volume 2, so you might need to find from Vol.2 Chapter 274 onwards somewhere else.
The story follows YiLin and Ruoxi, mainly their growth both in their relationship and in their life.
Too keep the review short, i'll briefly look over the content.
Volume 1 focuses on the forming of their relationship, which means that until volume 2 they don't start dating. It takes a more than 400 episodes to form their relationship, and that's great, you get to see their struggles, and their awkwardness. It's a treat for your eyes.
Volume 2, focuses on their relationship as lovers, taking place in their years of University, this volume is not as drama filled as the first one, it does tease your heart from time to time, but never to a point of worrying for their relationship. Towards the end, things get really serious, and it breaks your heart.
In the end though, they still end up together, albeit with a bittersweet ending, that will make you feel emotional.
The side characters are funny, and really enjoyable. Each Volume has a different set of side characters, with Volume 1's cast making an appearence from time to time.
The story is about the character's growth, focusing mainly in Rouxi and Yilin, you follow them through High school, all the way to adulthood, it feels like watching your children grown, and just like that, I am proud of our 2 girls here.
The story is great, the art has details in the background from time to time that'll make you check twice, this manhua really knows how to pull your heart-strings, i really enjoyed, really great.
This has become my favourite manhua, no, my favourite piece of media, not only of Yuri, but in general, if you enjoyed other stories like Pulse, you'll definetly enjoy Lily.
Thank you for reading,
Zereal.

Well, one gift. Singular. Don't be a greedy [REDACTED] and say thank you. Marylin likes Lariensa too much! Boi ain't that a self explanatory title! I'll be brief, I know you are very busy. Wanking. But still. First things first: the art is fine. Nothing spectacular, but it does use a nice array of gag panels and meme facial expressions. It is pretty funny. As is the writing, to be honest. It's a rom com, after all, and a very spirited one.
Characterization becomes unstable, the plot loses continuity and honestly even the basic logic behind, and the pacing accelerates to a speed closer to light, or the next fastest thing, that is, the time you take to [REDACTED]. It is truly the world's cruelest health issue, is it? Don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine. Someday. Very far. What was I saying? Yep, choppy pacing, rushed ending, premature ejac FINE I'LL DROP IT.
