Rocks on Loved Circus

Okay, next. Another Nemui? Fine. Still reeling from the last one. Well anyway, after zombie sèx, incèst, assorted criminality and general madness, how bad can Mr. Asada do me?
Turns out, the fùcker is still springy as all hèll. At this point, it is a given that each and everyone of his works share the same phenomenal quality: the writing is terse but it has great naturalistic traits, especially in the dialogues. The art is memorable, with an art style that you literally cannot find anywhere else. Of course, it oozes sèx appeal without being gratuitously pornographic, as is tradition.
And the characters... each of them is a tiny, chiseled pebble. Intricate, shaped with care, but direct in their nature.
About the story: with Nemui, unexpected uniqueness is a rule. I won't spoil the specifics. Suffice to say, this one is about getting stuck. Of course, you've experienced it: sometimes, in life, you get rooted to the ground. You sprout leafs to adorn yourself. And then you wither and die slowly, without anybody taking notice.
Of course, that's the bad ending. You could always decide to kill yourself. Or more optimistically, maybe someone will come on a white horse and save your princess àss. Even better, maybe you pull yourself by your bootstraps and move on.
But when everything else fails, when nothing is strong enough to pull you, sometimes life uproots you. Sometimes it's not up to you, because you get plucked right out of the interstitial space you've been sticked in. You have to leave the Circus.
It's a GAI (Grand Accolade of Ivern™️). I always learn new ways to be unhappy, thanks to this author. And this time nobody has to die, commit a cybercrime or fùck his brother for it! Progress!

Rocks on Everyday, Love Me More
okay tbvh i didnt really feel the chemistry between oto and sora at first cuz i feel like their relationship is only connected because of their past childhood connection but i took that back halfway after reading the story lol my fav part of the story would be oto's confession(s) (ohh that panel is majestic as heck) and definitely love the extra for showing them still being madly in love with each other after 10 years. it was a nice read for me ☺️

Rocks on In the Doghouse
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Mc is amazing. She is intelligent and realistic. I also really love hearing her inner monologue and overall the way she acts is quite nice. The male lead is also nice but I can't really fit him into a category? He seems like a golden retriever most of the chapters but he also has a dark side. I feel like the author tried to make him seem like a dark male lead but it failed because even though he has some dark thoughts the way he treats Mc is nothing but a green flag. Overall I like him too. (He is a bit obsessive too)
𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: Honestly I am genuinely confused about how the story will progress??? At first the Mc was really poor and all she was trying to do was save her household but she solves that problem in the first 20 chapters. So I am not sure how the story will progress since it seems like there isn't a certain destination. I think it's just gonna be the main couple finding love, some jealousy, some family problems and maybe a baby in the end?? And even though I would still like that I wish there was a certain goal because it feels like they are just being swayed by life. And I know that's more realistic but a goal like revenge or something that provides readers to want to see how the future would turn up like would be more fun to read.
𝐚𝐫𝐭: the art was just mind blowing. Seriously one of the best arts I have seen in manhwas. Every single panel was heavenly.
𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥: I think it's a manhwa that you won't ever regret reading. However I must warn that if you are not familiar with bdsm that much or if you're looking for slow burn romance it's not for you. However if you want something fast paced, funny and has an amazing sm** than this would be the one. Overall 8.5/10

Pretty good on Ani no Chuukoku
My oh my Sir Nemui! What a fortuitous occasion! I always remember fondly your past works! Do you have something for me?
"ye. Short stories."
Ohhhhh that's fantastic! Short form, uh! I bet they still retain your alluring art style and striking dialogues!
"Uh uh"
I bet they are just great, with your usual realistic and intimate characterization work. Your light strokes in psychological sketching!
"Kinda short tho"
Yes? Well that's fine. Short is fine. What are these tales about?
"here"
Mmmh two estranged brothers! They meet again after years! What a touching subject! Family themes are something I didn't expect from you, being the great yaoi author yo- wait.
"Heh"
This is incëst.
"Ye"
S-s-so where's the catch? A-are they like... Step siblings? Maybe divided at birth? Well at least they didn't grow together, right? Right?! No wait this is proper no backsies Alabama-certified brother-banging isn't it
"Bye"
It's straight up sibling fùcki- wait Mr. Nemui! Mr. Nemui please! What am I supposed to do with the bonafide textbook incèst tho? I c-can't- okay I can grade it but...
Well there are OTHER stories in it. Short and fun. 8+ on the Ivern Scale™️? Barring the incèst? Mmh. Hèll, I love the man, but everytime I review one of his mangas I get one step closer to hèll, I swear...
